About Us
Doehler is a global producer, marketer and provider of technology-driven natural ingredients, ingredient systems and integrated solutions for the food and beverage industry. We provide our customers with a wide product range including natural flavours, natural colours, fruit purees and pieces as well as healthy and functional ingredients for foods and beverages.
The Food Technologist is responsible for flavour creation work, develop the formula by blending natural/synthetic flavour chemical ingredients to form a target flavouring which is applied to Food and Beverage industry. This role tests food products for flavours, develop formulas and blending, setting ingredients to form flavouring to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Create new formulations or modify existing formulations as well as matching flavouring to meet customer's requirements
* Serve as a technical expert and advisor to internal and external partners and customers for flavour and ingredients performance of multiple flavour types
* Support and cooperate with all other departments of the company in daily work:
* Cooperate with analytical department to identify the key ingredients of target flavour during flavour creation and matching
* Cooperate with application department to test and modify to acquire the required flavour performance customer need
* Cooperate with sensory department to do the consumer test and flavour research
* Cooperate with regulatory department to make sure manufactured food products compliance domestic and overseas when export
* Cooperate QC department ensuring accuracy of manufactured flavouring and raw materials
* Cooperate with manufacturing department to ensure all the operation are in the right way during scale up and first production
* Cooperate with procurement department to search for the suitable ingredient and identify the quality

Skills and Experience
* Ability to independently manage flavour projects from concept to completion, including creation, modification, and matching to meet customer needs.
* Sound knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques (GC-MS, HPLC), sensory evaluation, food applications, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing processes.
* Strong technical problem-solving skills, including investigating and resolving customer complaints effectively.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and provide practical flavour or ingredient solutions.
* Collaborative team player who works well across functions including Application, Analytical, Regulatory, Sensory, QC, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proactive, innovative, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
* Displays accountability, integrity, and a strong commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
* Bachelor's degree of food chemistry, chemistry, food science or related qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Sweet Goods and some business development experience in flavour ingredients.

Pay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
