Let's make a meaningful difference, together! **Your part in our Wesley Hospital team**Joining our CSSD Sterilisation team as a Sterilisation Technician, you will be responsible for effectively delivering sterilisation services for the operating theatres in the cleaning galley.You will ensure all equipment is safe prior to use including; decontamination and disinfection processes, packing and wrapping of used items prior to sterilisation and the storage and handling of sterilised and used items.This position is critical in ensuring appropriate preparation and sterilisation of medical equipment and supplies to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.* Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or evidence of course enrolment* Current clinical experience in sterilisation techniques* Adherence to high level disinfection and sterilisation practices and infection control guidelines* Understanding of decontamination and disinfection processes* Instrumentation knowledge & demonstrated ability to assemble instrument trays correctly* Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and strong communication skills* Flexibility to work all shifts including AM and PM + 24/7 rotating on call roster* Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements * **NFP Salary Packaging:** Save tax and increase your take home pay by salary packaging your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650) per annum.
