Job Title: Senior Facilities Management Executive
This position oversees daily operations, maintenance and repair of complex systems and facilities.
Responsibilities
* Directs work groups engaged in activities such as planning, construction, maintenance, operation, repair, renovation, alteration, and demolition of buildings, structures, equipment, machinery, and other facilities.
* Evaluates bids from outside engineering, architectural, and construction firms.
* Establishes schedules and budgetary controls, allocates expenditures, and oversees major construction activities requiring integration with engineering, architectural, contracts, and government agencies.
* Sure compliance with contract specifications, insurance requirements, and local building codes.
* Reviews and approves architectural/engineering drawings.
* Participates in strategic planning and ensures appropriate skills are available when needed.
* Develops and maintains relationships with other organizations to stay updated on allied fields.
* Interprets, executes, and recommends organizational policies and corporate initiatives.
* Establishes quality systems and instills values and ethics.
* Hires employees, manages dismissals, conducts performance evaluations, plans salary increases, and handles problem employee situations.
* Establishes department and individual performance goals, reviews performance against goals, coaches and motivates team members, and develops subordinates.
Required Skills:
* Familiarity with engineering, architecture, and construction principles
* Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
