About The Role:

This leadership role is the face of the Department’s non-residential works delivery in the Wheatbelt and Goldfields/Esperance regions of Western Australia.

The Regional Manager leads and manages a small team across four office locations including Kalgoorlie, Merredin, Northam and Esperance. The role is responsible for the effective delivery of the Department’s maintenance, minor works and capital infrastructure delivery across the Region.

This role partners with and collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders to create benefits for local communities. Therefore, regular travel is involved, and a current driver’s licence is required.

About You:

We are looking for someone who wants to directly make a difference.

The successful candidate should have a passion for supporting local industry and will work closely with existing, new and emerging businesses to maximise local outcomes in the delivery of Department of Housing and Works services.

The Regional Manager will also lead the continued growth of the Department’s engagement with Registered Aboriginal Businesses in support of the State Government’s Aboriginal Procurement Policy.

This position operates in the context of Leading Leaders. This means you will be required to deliver results through leaders and your teams in a single business area, and by influencing leaders in other business areas. You will add value by providing direction and developing and coaching your leaders to achieve operational objectives. You will make decisions about how services should be provided based on the resources at hand.

If you feel that you align with our collaborative and results focused approach and want to see these differences come to life, this is the role for you - become a part of our small and close-knit regional team who foster a great team and values driven environment.
