CNC Machinist Job Description
Job Title: CNC Machinist
We are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate and efficient machining of components from engineering drawings and samples.
* Key Responsibilities:
* CNC program, both at the machine and using CAD/CAM software applications.
* Set up and operate CNC 3-axis milling machines fitted with Fanuc controllers.
* Set up and operate Okuma slant bed lathes.
* Determine material and equipment requirements and task sequences.
* Inspect and verify parts by using precision measuring equipment.
* Assist in training of apprentices.
Requirements:
* A strong commitment to safe work practices.
* Experience working with small to large scale jobs in an industrial jobbing environment.
* The ability to complete jobs on time and to quality standards.
