Join an inclusive service providing accessible mental health support to the Kingaroy community. Our centre offers assessment, triage, warm referrals, and immediate support for people with varying levels of need, including those in crisis.
About You
* Deliver high-quality, evidence-based brief interventions, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IPT, and Solution-Focused Therapy tailored to individuals with complex presentations.
* Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including risk evaluations, and facilitate effective group interventions for consumers with significant psychosocial challenges.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated, holistic support.
* Provide guidance and supervision to students, contributing to learning and elevating clinical practice across the team.
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, maintaining accurate documentation, protecting confidentiality, and upholding all governance, reporting, and risk-management requirements.
* Actively contribute to continuous quality improvement, aligning practice with Open Minds' Model of Practice and broader organisational standards.

Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in health, counselling, behavioural sciences, or a related field, with postgraduate mental health qualifications and professional registration (AHPRA, AASW, PACFA, or ACA) highly regarded.
* Current Driver Licence
* Current Blue Card
* Current National Police Check
* Knowledge of the Australian mental health system, relevant legislation, and ethical frameworks, with well-established networks in local support services.
* Knowledge and ability to develop and deliver group-based skills training activities to assist clients' psychosocial functioning
