Varsity has grown into an entertainment hub, serving up tasty burgers and saucy wings across 9 venues in Perth. Our kitchen team is seeking a hard-working and vibrant Head Chef or Sous Chef to join our team.
You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of our amazing food within a high-volume restaurant and pub environment. You will ensure solid kitchen operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain thorough cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Ensure all meals are cooked to Varsity's standards.
* Follow national recipes and plating guides.
* Serve meals quickly and of the highest quality every time.
* Maintain sparkling clean and well-organised kitchens.
* Adhere to food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.
On a daily basis, you will ensure staff are allocated sections and secondary duties throughout their shifts, manage general kitchen operations, and contribute to the Back of House Management team to improve current menu items and develop specials and LTOs (limited time offers) ideas.
Required Skills and Qualifications
