Trentham Waters Resort is a Palm Springs-inspired resort nestled along the banks of the majestic Murray River at Trentham Cliffs, NSW. As a family-owned business, we take pride in curating an environment where our guests can connect with the pristine beauty of nature whilst enjoying our modern facilities in a relaxed setting. The resort will open in December 2025.
We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee the resort's front office and reception, foster team unity, and ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience. This permanent position will report to our General Manager but oversee, supervise, and train a small team of Guest Service Attendants.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the front office and reception team.
2. Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests receive a warm welcome to the resort and assisting with all aspects of their stay including check-in, check-out, and any inquiries.
3. Working with the General Manager to optimize revenue opportunities and decrease expenses.
4. Overseeing reservations, groups, functions, and event bookings.
5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
6. Following all relevant property, security, emergency, and health and safety procedures.
7. Maintaining accurate guest accounts and adhering to confidentiality policies and procedures.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in office management supervising a team.
2. Strong leadership skills.
3. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Experience with Newbook property management systems (preferred but not essential).
6. Proven ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure, supported by strong organisational and time management skills.
7. Capable of embracing a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
