ABOUT THE ROLE
Konnect Care are seeking a Service manager within our 24/7 Supported Independent Living services.
As the Service Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring individualised care and support to our Participants and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. You will be responsible for:
* Ensure clients are being provided with the best possible person-centred support to meet their NDIS goals in line with their individual support plans
* Management of SIL Compliance and Audits
* Working with the Operations Manager to develop and implement processes and procedures
* Engaging staff in the development of program activities that meet the individualised goals of participants that are in line with their needs and interests.
* Management and reporting of Restrictive Practices
* Effective time management of self and others
* Attend regular staff and service user meetings with a view to continuous improvement and quality assurance
* Onboarding of new participant and Ensuring risk assessment, support plan or any other relevant documentation required are completed in a timely manner.
* Manage the training and development of staff to ensure they have the skills and competencies to provide appropriate support to clients in their care.
* Lead a team of support workers and team leader.
* oversee the overall management and operations supported independent living programs.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:
* Management Experience in NDIS sector - SIL Management experience highly desirable
* A relevant qualification in Human Resources Management, Disability, Community Services.
* A reliable car and current driver's license
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificates
* Current Working with Children's Check
* Current NDIS Workers Screening Check
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Strong computer skills for the development of support plans.
* Ability to engage with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
