**About the role**
An open opportunity for an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join a busy, yet stable team based in the Northern Beaches. This business is a market leader in their industry and works in an organised payroll teams. The role is suited to someone who is passionate about Payroll and is seeking a supportive company culture and payroll team.
**The Responsibilities**:
- Assist with payroll calculations and general duties such as maintaining employee database, entering new hires etc.
- Ensure all relevant awards are adhered to.
- Chase approvals from Manager when needed.
- Communicate effectively with all levels in the business including store teams and senior management.
- Administer employee payroll and records, including engagement, deductions, superannuation allowances, reimbursements, leave and other related matters.
**The successful applicant will have**:
- Chris21/ IChris system experience
- Experience in healthcare industry is highly advantageous
- Working with high volume environment (minimum 800-1000+ employees)
- Ability to follow directions and ask questions.
- Be motivated and driven.
- Excellent communication skills
