Role Description
This is a contract-based role for an Occupational Therapist (OT) with Alongside Support. In this hybrid role, located in Geelong, VIC with some work-from-home flexibility, you will work collaboratively with participants to deliver person-centered occupational therapy services tailored to meet their goals. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, implementing therapeutic strategies, and liaising with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote the well-being and independence of participants. The role also involves documentation and progress reporting in accordance with NDIS guidelines.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
* Experience in conducting assessments, developing individualized care plans, and implementing therapy interventions
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with participants, families, and professionals
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
* Familiarity with NDIS guidelines and experience working within the disability sector is a plus
* Proficiency in detailed documentation and report writing
* Access to reliable transport for travel within the Geelong area
