The Role
Do you thrive when dealing with complex, challenging projects? Are you a seasoned Heavy Lift professional? As a supervisor for Mammoet, you'll be responsible for orchestrating a team of skilled operatives to prepare, execute and demobilize important and often high-profile heavy lifting and transportation work.
Mammoet is seeking a self-driven and motivated Supervisor for our crew at Chichester Hub where you will ultimately be accountable for ensuring a high standard of delivery and safety to our clients and employees.
This role will be FIFO from Perth to the FMG Chichester Hub on a 2:1 roster supporting Christmas Creek and Cloud Break.
What you'll be doing
* Taking responsibility for the supervision and execution of assigned work
* Leading a team with a range of different roles and skills
* Providing direction and expert knowledge
* Overseeing all phases of work at the site on a day-to-day basis
* Ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently and effectively
What you'll need
* 5 year's Supervising experience in crane and rigger operations in a mining industry - preferable
* Current and Valid Driver's License
* Section 44 Certificate or equivalent Schedule 26 qualification
* Experience as a CO (Open Crane Operator) and Rigging experience - highly preferable
* To be a confident and motivated self starter
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client and employee relationships
* Ability to make quick decisions and problem solve
