Your New Role:
- Actively supervising preschool and primary school aged children in outdoor and indoor activities
- Assisting other staff in engaging in programs that are both fun and educational
- Setting up outside of school clubs and activities
- Offering a safe and secure environment
- Liaison with families
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including regular accounting of all children, incident reports and children’s developmental observations
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care, implementing appropriate supervision and risk management practices.
About you:
- Diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Working towards Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent studies in Social Work, Allied Health and Education
- Valid NT Working with Children Card (WWCC)
- A genuine passion for working with children in supporting their growth and development
- Prior experience working with children preferred however not essential
- Able to implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs
- An understanding of the My Time Our Place Framework
- Australian work rights are essential. For example, Australian Birth Certificate or Passport or Visa.
