Your new company
This State Government department plays a pivotal role in delivering key initiatives that support South Australia's future. Due to a peak in project activity, the marketing and communications team requires an additional pair of hands to assist with campaign execution, digital delivery and event support. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attitude and initiative are highly valued.
Your new role
You will provide tactical, hands-on support across traditional marketing and digital channels. This is not a strategic role, it is suited to a proactive content producer and digital executor who enjoys operational hands-on work.
You will support the delivery of campaigns and events, create engaging social media content (including reels), coordinate social media ad bookings (Meta), and update website content via the department's CMS. Working across multiple stakeholders, you will help ensure marketing activities are delivered efficiently and on time during a busy operational period.
What you'll need to succeed
To hit the ground running in this role, you will bring:
* Experience in a marketing or digital role, ideally within a Government environment
* Hands-on capability across both traditional marketing (including event coordination) and digital channels
* Experience producing social media content, including short-form video/reels
* Experience booking and managing Meta ads
* Confidence updating website content via a CMS
* Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
* A proactive, adaptable and positive attitude with the ability to learn quickly
* Availability to commence immediately for a 3-month temporary assignment
* Current DHS Working with Children Check
