Our client is a civil contractor delivering works across Sydney’s water infrastructure network, including sewerage treatment plants, water and sewer pipelines, pump stations, upgrades, renewals and associated civil works. This role would suit an Estimator currently working for a civil contractor, subcontractor or delivery partner involved in Sydney Water or similar government infrastructure projects. The Role You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for civil construction projects across water and wastewater infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing drawings, scopes, specifications and tender documents Preparing cost estimates for civil and water infrastructure projects Pricing works across pipelines, treatment plants, pump stations, earthworks and associated civil packages Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal delivery teams Preparing take-offs, BOQs and tender submissions Assessing project risks, methodology, access constraints and programme requirements Working closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure estimates are realistic and commercially sound What We’re Looking For Experience as a Civil Estimator within civil construction Strong understanding of Sydney Water projects or similar water infrastructure works Experience pricing sewer, water, pipeline, treatment plant or pump station projects Ability to read civil drawings and technical specifications Strong take-off, BOQ and tender preparation skills Good commercial awareness and attention to detail Experience working for a civil contractor, subcontractor or infrastructure delivery business Strong communication skills and ability to work with suppliers, subcontractors and project teams What’s On Offer Work on Sydney Water and essential infrastructure projects Strong pipeline of civil and water infrastructure work Join an established civil construction business Competitive Salary packages Long-term opportunity for an Estimator wanting to specialise in water infrastructure To Apply Please submit your CV or contact WYNCO Recruitment for a confidential discussion.
