Job Title: Principal Advisor
Description:
In this key role, you will provide high-level industrial relations, human resource, and employee relations advisory services to support the Workforce Relations and Policy Unit.
You will lead critical projects and initiatives impacting the Queensland Health workforce, including providing high-level support in the implementation of whole-of-government human resource and industrial relations policy and initiatives across Queensland Health.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and project management skills to initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate projects in line with Queensland Health approved methodologies.
* Design, coordinate, and conduct job evaluations to ensure consistent and correctly classified role descriptions relevant to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce stream.
* Lead job evaluation matters, initiatives, and projects, managing disputed outcomes and resolving complex issues.
* Provide high-level advice, support, and training to senior leaders, managers, staff, and unions to deliver job evaluation services effectively.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated high-level experience and expertise in job analysis, role description design, job evaluation methodology, JEMS or similar.
* Highly developed communication and oral presentation skills, including writing high-quality reports, briefs, correspondence, instructional materials, and resources tailored to the audience's level of knowledge, skill, and experience.
* Record of achievement in providing high-level advisory and support services to senior stakeholders on human resource and industrial relations matters.
* Ability to work with and sustain effective relationships with various stakeholders, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, related to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce industrial relations agenda.
