Rawco is looking for a strong Commercial Manager (Construction Projects) to support the commercial and financial side of our retaining wall projects across Victoria.
We build engineered retaining walls for developers and civil contractors. As our project workload grows, we need someone who can keep the commercial side of projects organised, support the construction team and make sure the financial side of projects stays tight.
This is an office-based role at our office in New Gisborne, working closely with the Construction Manager and project team.
Rawco operates with project-based accounting, monthly project reviews and weekly forecasting, so we're looking for someone comfortable working in a structured project environment.
What you'll be responsible for
• Preparing and managing project progress claims
• Tracking variations and maintaining variation registers
• Managing contract retentions and release schedules
• Reviewing subcontractor claims and supporting payment processes
• Job cost tracking and monitoring project budgets
• Supporting monthly project financial reviews
• Contributing to weekly forecasting and project financial updates
• Supporting the construction team with commercial queries
• Helping maintain strong financial controls across projects
What we're looking for
• Experience in construction, civil or project-based environments
• Strong understanding of progress claims, variations and subcontractor claims
• Experience working with project managers and site teams
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working closely with operations and project teams
• Ability to keep multiple projects financially organised
