About the Role
This is a broad, hands‐on position responsible for overseeing finance, HR, ICT, contracts, and governance functions. You'll play a critical role in supporting decision‐making, maintaining compliance, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Finance
* Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the Executive Director, Board, and stakeholders
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance across programs
* Oversee payroll, leave, and timesheet processes
* Manage assets, leases, and administrative expenditure
* Coordinate audits and prepare annual financial statements
* Liaise with external financial and payroll providers
People & Culture
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes
* Support performance management, including goal setting and reviews
* Provide advice on HR matters to leadership and staff
* Oversee workplace health & safety and business continuity planning
Contracts & Governance
* Draft and review contracts and MOUs
* Support Board reporting and governance requirements
* Lead risk management and maintain risk registers
* Develop and maintain organisational policies and procedures
About You
You are a proactive and adaptable professional with strong experience across finance and operations in a complex environment.
* 5–10 years' experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications (Business, Accounting, HR)
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Experience across finance, HR, ICT, and business operations
* Confident working with systems, software, and digital tools
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Valid Blue Card and Australian work rights
