We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead our Regional Procurement team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving value and customer satisfaction through strategic procurement and business improvement initiatives.

In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry. You will provide strategic leadership in procurement, ensuring value-driven processes, and enhancing supplier and customer relationships.
Duties and Skills Involved:
* Manage continuous improvement initiatives to implement best practice procurement that optimizes value and minimizes inefficiencies in acquiring goods and services.
* Display strong contract and procurement management capability within a category portfolio, offering high-level advice to stakeholders.
* Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality deliverables, and high-performance standards.
* Interpret spend analysis to assess risk management strategies and identify opportunities in the construction industry.
* Develop and lead the implementation of the region's industry engagement strategy in collaboration with our Procurement Strategy team.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a proven professional with:
* Proven ability to successfully manage effective procurement and category management processes and practices in a complex and diverse organisation.
* Possession of at least Queensland PCP Level 2 Intermediate Training from a recognised institution.
