Work across guest services, housekeeping and breakfast service in one of Hobart's most beautiful boutique hotels.
Maylands Lodge is seeking a friendly, reliable and versatile Hotel All-Rounder to support multiple areas of the hotel and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in great service, and likes working in a small, supportive team.
No two days are the same — you'll be part of a team that ensures every guest experience is warm, welcoming and seamless.
The Role
As a Hotel All-Rounder you will assist across several areas of the hotel to support smooth day-to-day operations and create memorable stays for our guests.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Greeting guests and assisting with check-ins and check-outs
• Responding to guest enquiries and providing local recommendations
• Assisting with breakfast service and light food & beverage duties
• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard
• Maintaining clean and welcoming public areas
• Supporting the team with general hotel tasks as required
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork and delivering thoughtful hospitality.
Shifts may include morning, daytime and weekend shifts as part of a roster.
What We're Looking For
• Experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred but not essential)
• Friendly, positive attitude with a strong focus on guest experience
• Ability to multitask and work across different areas of the hotel
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and support a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Physical ability to undertake housekeeping and manual tasks
• Australian work rights are required for this position
