Service Manager Job Description
This is a senior-level position responsible for leading the service department in achieving exceptional customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective service processes, creating annual goals and budget in alignment with organizational objectives, and overseeing the submission of warranty and product improvement program claims.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and communicate effective service processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
* Create annual service department goals and budget in alignment with organizational objectives.
* Submit warranty and product improvement program claims within required timeframes.
* Schedule and assign jobs to employees based on their skills and knowledge.
* Review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing.
* Ensure all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
* Manage recruiting, staffing, and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position.
Requirements:
