As a Support Worker, you'll provide personalised care and support tailored to each individual's needs, empowering them to lead independent lives filled with dignity and joy. Your role will involve engaging with clients, understanding their unique preferences, and helping them navigate daily challenges with confidence.
As a Total Care Support Worker, you will:
* Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
* Providing companionship and engaging clients in social, recreational, and educational activities
* Advocating for client needs and ensuring their well-being and safety
* Encouraging independence and confidence through daily living and activities
* Providing transportation to medical appointments, social engagements, and community activities
* Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement client-centric support plans
* Maintaining detailed records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements

* Previous experience in a similar-aged or disability support role, or a relevant qualification in community services or healthcare, is advantageous
* A can-do, positive, encouraging attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients
* A compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach to care
* A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance coverage.
* Possession of Yellow and Blue cards is required - We can assist with obtaining
* First aid certification and CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain
* Certification in Disability Services (Certificate III or IV) or equivalent is desirable but not necessary
