**About Bialik College**
Bialik College is a cross-communal Jewish Zionist school, embracing an inclusive approach to Judaism. All students attend one campus in Hawthorn, creating a close-knit community of students and learners from as young as three months old in our Children's Centre, three years old in the Early Learning Centre through to Year 12 in the Senior School. Students come from throughout Melbourne, with a sizeable majority from the Caulfield area, with many travelling to school on public transport or Bialik buses.

**About the role**
This is a **12-month maternity leave** cover position, commencing in **Term 1, 2025.**
**What you'll be doing**
- Plan and deliver high-quality VCE Economics and middle-school Commerce lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning objectives
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine teaching strategies and resources
- Contribute to the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events
- Maintain accurate student records and adhere to school policies and procedures
**What we're looking for**
- Tertiary qualification in Economics or a related field, with a teaching certification
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Economics and Commerce at the secondary and VCE level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- A collaborative and flexible approach to working within a team environment
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student-centred learning
