The Role: Reporting to the ICT Service Manager, purpose of this role is to be responsible for managing outsourced service contractors to ensure safe and reliable performance of on-site field telecommunications services across Arrow Energy’s compression, power, water treatment or wellfield assets.
In addition, you will:
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
* Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
* Lead the team/s responsible for providing field telecommunications services, ensuring safe on-site operations of gas compression, water treatment and power generation assets, whilst improving availability and reliability of communications.
* Act as the contractor holder, maintaining and improving field telecommunications services through effective contractor management, performance monitoring, escalation management and troubleshooting, governance and change management.
* Drive compliance with the use of Arrow’s work management systems and processes, providing an interface between ICT and site teams to manage planned operations activities, whilst ensuring timely response to field telecommunications failures.
* Support the broader ICT function in the performance of business management activities including budgeting, contractor and service management, while leading continuous improvement initiatives in field telecommunications to ensure current and future operational needs are met.
* Maintain and enforce strict Cyber Security practices and procedures to protect critical assets from cyber threats.
About You You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
* Qualifications: High School / FE College [OR] 2 A Levels [OR] BTEC Higher National Diploma
* Experience of working in a telecommunications environment.
* Ability to demonstrate compliance with all HSE requirements and taking the necessary actions to promote continuous improvement of safety standards and procedures for field-based activities.
* Experience of working client side in an outsourced ICT environment and supplier management against SLAs, monitoring performance against service level agreements, participating in effective working relationships to deliver continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of safety management systems and processes including permit to work.
* Experience managing the performance of information technology field-based telecommunications services.
* Building relationships with vendor stakeholders, service stakeholders, including service recipients, commercial teams and ICT line management.
* Extensive information technology problem solving experience.
* Extensive experience with field-based Process Control and Automation Systems, Telecommunications Systems and Network support and deployments.
* Network vendor certification – Cisco CCNA or equivalent (desirable).
