We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international renewable energy company with a growing portfolio of projects across multiple jurisdictions. Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking a Senior Associate-level lawyer to support debt financing and project finance matters across its global operations.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance lawyer to work in-house on complex, cross-border renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of debt and project finance transactions, working closely with internal stakeholders, lenders, investors, and external counsel. The role offers regular exposure to international transactions and the opportunity for occasional overseas travel.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on debt financing and project finance transactions, including bilateral and syndicated facilities, acquisition financings, and refinancings
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating finance documents, security packages, and related agreements
* Supporting project teams on financing structures and bankability issues
* Managing and coordinating external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
* Assisting with transactions from development stage through to financial close and post-completion
* Providing commercial, practical legal advice in a fast-paced, international environment
Candidate Profile
* Senior Associate-level experience in debt finance and/or project finance
* Strong experience in renewable energy and infrastructure projects
* Proven exposure to multi-jurisdictional transactions
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Commercial mindset with the ability to work autonomously
* Willingness to undertake occasional international travel
