A bit about the role:
We’re on the lookout for a passionate, people-first Youth Outreach Worker to join our YHOP team on the frontlines, where real impact is the name of the game!
In this role, you’ll walk alongside young people aged 12–25 who are at risk of or are already doing it rough. You’ll build trust, break down barriers, and connect them with the right services, support systems, and opportunities empowering them to reclaim their power and potential!
Whether it’s one-on-one outreach, running group programs, or backing up your teammates with specialist advice, every day brings new challenges and rewards.
Our Youth Holistic Outreach Program (YHOP) is all about meeting young people where they’re at; on the streets, in schools, in crisis, or in the community helping them re-engage with life through the right pathways. With your energy, empathy, and commitment, you’ll help turn tough moments into turning points.
The role will require travel between Melton, St Albans and Sunshine
Key Requirements:
•One or more years experience in community services, outreach and working with young people.
•Minimum Cert IV qualifications in youth work, social work, employment services, community development
•Valid Australian drivers licence
Please note: Fixed term until June 2026. The role is Full Time
