We are seeking a reliable and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to support daily operations and help lead our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality experience who is ready to step into a leadership position and help create a positive, high-energy work environment. Wine knowledge is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support staff during shifts
* Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Help lift and maintain a great team vibe and morale
* Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
* Handle day-to-day challenges and solve problems efficiently
* Assist with opening and closing procedures
* Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and training
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
* Support inventory control and stock ordering
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
* Assist management with scheduling and reporting
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Positive, energetic attitude with the ability to motivate others
* Ability to deal with day-to-day problems calmly and effectively
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Good understanding of food safety and service standards
* Wine knowledge is a plus
* Must have full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
