TasBGAS is looking for candidates who have a passion for Building & Construction and are committed to commencing an apprenticeship in Cabinet Making or Plastering.
The role as an Apprentice Cabinet Maker will be for a January 2026 start. The role as an Apprentice Plasterer includes training in manufacture, application and fixing of internal linings (wall & ceiling) on commercial and domestic buildings.
Responsibilities
Perform a range of skills associated with the manufacture and installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinets and fittings to current or renovation work (Apprentice Cabinet Maker).
Assist in manufacture, application and fixing of internal linings (wall & ceiling) on commercial and domestic buildings (Apprentice Plasterer).
Qualifications and attributes
Reliable, Motivated and Punctual
Have a strong work ethic
Take workplace safety seriously & are committed to maintaining a safe working environment
Can think on their feet and able to follow instructions
Enthusiastic and hard-working
Have a white card
Have a current drivers license
