About Us:
Located in the heart of Byron Bay in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, the iconic and much-loved café is looking for a new legend to join our incredible team. Bayleaf Café is a Byron Bay staple with over 10 years of existence and a favourite for all who visit both tourist and locals, something which we pride ourselves on.
We have an opportunity available for a Casual Chef who has experience working in a breakfast kitchen. 25+ hours weekly available, with all year-round and full-time potential. We are a high-volume café/kitchen operating out of an open kitchen between 7am-2pm, so experience along with being well presented is a must.
We also require full availability for December and January.

What You'll Do:
Have strong communication skills and organizational abilities to enhance teamwork and
efficiency
Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organisation
Work cohesively and autonomously within a collaborative team environment
Requirements
Previous experience in a high-volume Cafe or Restaurant environment
Previous experience working breakfast shifts
Weekend availability
Able to keep up in busy periods with a sense of urgency
Able to follow recipes and manage your time
Have pride in your work
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
Only applicants that have permanent resident status or unrestricted rights to work in
Australia will be considered
