Food Services Assistant – Casual position
Department
Alfred Health Support Services provides the core Support Services of Non-ward Cleaning, Gardens and Grounds, Distribution, Security, Ward Support, Food Services, and Car Parking.
Role
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join our Food Services team as an FSA. In this role you will be required to plate meals, prepare meal items such as mid meal snacks, sandwiches and desserts, wash dishes and complete other cleaning tasks.
You will have a background of experience in Food Services within Health & Aged Care Facilities or equivalent. A high level of flexibility and motivation to achieve set standards is required. You will be able to work both in a team environment and autonomously and possess good time management skills. The understanding and practicing of infection control & food safety principles is essential.
