Role

Instruction of instrumental music (Guitar/Voice) to individual students or in small groups. Work in a team situation with other members of the Performing Arts department. Some additional hours may be required for rehearsals and performances of School Productions. Manage the use of and access to school resource and reference material. Provide feedback on student¿s progress.

Responsibilities

• To tutor and support small groups or individual students involved in the Instrumental Music Program according to curriculum.
• Maintain accurate student attendance rolls and prepare timetables in collaboration with the Instrumental Music Coordinator.
• Maintain records of progressive assessment and submit bi-annual reports.
• Communicate with parents/carers as required.
• Working in collaboration with other instrumental staff to assist with ensembles, showcases and productions.
• Provide instruction for students to prepare for external assessments and performances in collaboration with Instrumental Music Coordinator.
• Additional attendance may be required for rehearsals and performances of School Productions outside of school hours.
