About the Role
Duties
Engage hotel guests to enhance the service experience through activation of all outlet services within the lobby area (e.g. Restaurant & Bar Front Desk Business Center Lounge etc.).
Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g. transportation reservations dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers.
Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Gather summarize and provide local area knowledge to inform guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities including special events and local activities.
Wear the mascot costume and embody the character in a fun energetic and professional manner.
Engage warmly with children and families creating memorable and enjoyable experiences.
Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and approachable manner.
Follow safety and performance guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and yourself.
Skills & Experience
Responsible Service of Alcohol from Nationally Accredited Training provider (RSA)
Im Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth)
Experience working in customer service role preferable
Passion for customer service.
A genuine love for working with children and families.
Confidence performing and engaging in public.
Physical fitness and stamina to wear the mascot costume for extended periods.
Reliability punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to work during school holidays weekends and festive periods.
