We’re currently recruiting Sheetmetal Apprentices to join a local manufacturing business.
What You'll Do:
As a Sheetmetal Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining hands-on skills in:
Cutting, shaping and assembling metal components
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Using hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
Measuring and marking materials accurately
Assisting tradespeople with fabrication
Learning to work to tight tolerances and quality standards
Following safe work practices at all times
Who We’re Looking For:
Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience and want to get qualified, we want to hear from you!
To apply, you’ll need to:
Have a driver’s licence and reliable transport for early starts
Be punctual, reliable and eager to learn
Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Be able to follow instructions and work safely
Have experience with tools or welding, or hold a Cert II in Engineering (preferred for 1st Years)
Be able to read technical drawings (for advanced applicants)
Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
