Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to lead our Department of Medicine and provide strategic leadership in the planning, coordination and management of high-quality service provision.
The successful candidate will be an expert contributor to National Quality and Safety standards and will jointly lead clinical governance with other senior leaders. They will also provide professional leadership and oversight to senior and junior medical staff within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership and support the management, coordination and planning of high-quality service provision for the region
* Jointly lead clinical governance with the Director of Nursing & Operations and other Clinical Directors
* Expertly contribute to National Quality and Safety standards across the organization
* Provide professional leadership and oversight to senior and junior medical staff within the department
* Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a high standard of professional leadership
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medicine and experience in leading teams. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
They will also have a proven track record of providing high-quality care and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
