Case Manager for Self-Represented Litigants
About the Common Law Division:
The County Court's division handles matters related to personal injury, workplace accidents, transport incidents, and medical negligence claims.
As a case manager, you'll work closely with judges, registrars, lawyers, and registry staff to support self-represented litigants.
You'll lead initiatives to improve processes, information, and resources for self-represented litigants, including developing inclusive and accessible materials and enhancing online services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide practical advice to self-represented litigants
* Refer individuals to external services and agencies for legal assistance
* Collaborate with judges, registrars, lawyers, and registry staff to support self-represented litigants
A degree in law or substantial experience working in a legal environment is highly desirable.
To be successful in this role, you'll need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
