This Marketing Coordinator role (available in either Sydney or Melbourne) is designed for someone with a solid foundation in marketing who is ready to grow into a broader role over time. You'll start by owning well-defined areas of execution and coordination, working across content, campaigns and events, product marketing support, and marketing operations, while learning how a payments business goes to market.
As your experience and capability develop, there is a clear opportunity to take on increased responsibility, broader ownership, and more complex initiatives, with a natural progression toward a Marketing Manager role as the team and business grow.
You'll work closely with experienced marketers and cross-functional teams, gain exposure to strategic decision-making without being solely responsible for it, and be supported to build the skills and confidence required to step up over time.

Mission/ Primary purpose
The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in bringing Azupay's marketing strategy to life. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, this role supports the planning and delivery of content, campaigns, product marketing materials, and industry activity. The Marketing Coordinator ensures marketing initiatives are well coordinated, consistent with brand and messaging, and aligned to business priorities, while building strong foundations for scalable growth.
Accountabilities
Content Marketing & Communications
* Support the development and execution of Azupay's content marketing plan across awareness and conversion activities
* Coordinate and maintain the marketing content calendar
* Draft and edit content including blogs, website copy, case studies, product updates, social posts, and supporting campaign materials
* Assist with the production of thought leadership and opinion-based content in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and internal stakeholders
* Track and report on content performance and engagement metrics
Campaign & Go-to-Market Support
* Coordinate marketing activities supporting product launches, GTM initiatives, and priority industry verticals
* Assist in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, email, and partner channels
* Ensure campaign assets are delivered on time and aligned with agreed messaging and positioning
Brand & Marketing Collateral
* Support brand consistency across all marketing materials
* Create, update, and manage product collateral, presentations, sales enablement materials, and website content
* Liaise with designers, agencies, and freelancers as required to deliver marketing assets
Trade, Partnerships & Industry Activity
* Support the planning and execution of Azupay-hosted industry events, including breakfasts, executive lunches, and small-format engagement events, from coordination through to post-event follow-up
* Coordinate logistics, timelines, suppliers, invitations, and supporting marketing materials for owned events, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners
* Support coordination of trade marketing activities, sponsorships, and participation in relevant industry events
* Assist with partner marketing initiatives, including shared content, co-branded activity, and event collaboration opportunities
* Help manage timelines, assets, and deliverables associated with industry exposure and partner commitments
Website & Digital Support
* Assist with website updates and content management, with a focus on clarity, conversion, and accuracy
* Support SEO initiatives through content updates, optimisation, and coordination with external providers
* Monitor website performance and flag opportunities for improvement
Marketing Operations & Coordination
* Support marketing reporting, tracking activity outcomes and key metrics
* Assist with budget tracking and invoice management
* Maintain marketing documentation, processes, and asset libraries
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing activities are aligned with broader business priorities
Key skills, knowledge and/or experience
* 2–4 years' experience in a marketing or communications role; B2B, fintech, financial services, or technology experience preferred
* Strong written communication skills, with experience creating and editing marketing content
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Experience supporting marketing campaigns and coordinating deliverables across stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, events and initiatives
* Comfortable working with digital channels including websites, email, and social platforms
* Ability to interpret performance data and contribute to reporting and optimisation
* Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-moving environment
* Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant marketing tools or platforms
Qualifications/ training
* Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline (preferred)
