The Role
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Manager (Business Development) to lead sales activity, manage client relationships and support tender and pipeline growth across the business.
This role will suit someone with experience in construction or trade-based industries who is comfortable working across sales strategy, customer engagement and marketing coordination.
The role is primarily office-based in Welshpool, with occasional travel to customer sites across the Perth metropolitan area and regional Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across commercial and residential construction sectors
* Manage inbound and outbound customer enquiries and maintain strong client relationships
* Prepare, coordinate and support tenders, proposals and capability statements
* Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
* Liaise with builders, developers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
* Maintain CRM systems and manage sales pipelines and reporting
* Support brand positioning, marketing campaigns and market research activities
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a sales, marketing or business development role
* Experience working within the construction industry or related trade environment
* Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
* Experience supporting or coordinating tenders and proposals
* Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Experience within concrete finishing or construction services is highly regarded but not essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
* Current Australian driver's licence
* Current White Card
* Right to work in Australia
* Access to own reliable transport
* Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,515.00 – $100,000.00 per year
