As a Water Infrastructure Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our water and wastewater services. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage SCADA systems to maintain a smooth operation of our water network.
* Respond promptly to alarms and operational issues to ensure service continuity.
* Maintain pump stations, reservoirs, and small water treatment plants.
* Promote safety and environmental standards across all operations.
* Participate in planned and reactive maintenance programs.
* Join the on-call roster to provide 24/7 support.
Requirements:
* Qualifications and/or experience in water operations or a related field.
* Strong understanding of SCADA systems and water/wastewater infrastructure.
* A commitment to safety and environmental standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* General Construction Safety White Card.
* Confined Space & Working at Heights certification.
* Operate and control liquefied chlorine gas dosing systems training.
* Previous experience in water and sewerage infrastructure operations.
