The Role:
The main objective of the Assistant Sales Manager is to sell new and used vehicles to customers and assist the Sales Manager in the supervision of sales people and activities for the department, ensuring delivery of a 'customer for life' experience and achievement of performance objectives, targets and customer service benchmarks. As well as supporting the team by proactively helping them achieve their targets, you have your own sales targets to achieve.
You will help to ensure the sales team follows the process, completes necessary paperwork correctly according to company protocols and the code.
You will work with a number of departments within the dealership including (but not limited to): the Dealer Principal, General Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Consultants, finance, manufacturer representatives, Aftermarket Sales Consultant and more. This role involves a high level of customer contact.
