Once classroom training is completed, the NAT provides assistance to professional nursing staff in the care of residents/patients through routine direct and indirect care activities, according to established policies and procedures. Maintains resident/patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Promotes resident/patient acceptance of treatment goals and responds promptly to overall resident/patient needs. The NAT will be permitted to work in this capacity until passing the state competency examination. Additional Details This C.N.A. paid training class is expected to start on July 2, 2025.
