About the Role
People & Culture division seeks a People Operations Officer for a 6‐month Max Term Contract. The role provides exceptional support to BOQ Group employees and the internal People & Culture departments, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of customer service. Key responsibilities include onboarding, lifecycle management, HR due diligence, and coaching leaders on self‐service tools while contributing to broader HR projects.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, employee changes, movements, and separations.
- Assist with Employee Due Diligence and provide advice on Human Resources queries.
- Coach and guide leaders on the appropriate use of self‐service tools such as the BOQ Group intranet and HRIS.
- Contribute to general HR tasks and projects that support the wider People & Culture team.
- Ensure timely and accurate administration to maintain high levels of customer service for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experienced People Operations professional with a growth mindset and strong commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and tact.
- Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running and handle diverse systems and business tools.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and DocuSign.
- Excellent phone contact handling and active listening skills.
- Proven time‐management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship‐building qualities with a \"can‐do\" mentality and tenacity.
- Proven customer support experience in high‐volume environments.
- Desirable degree in Human Resources or equivalent (not essential).
