Job Overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager with strong B2B travel industry experience to drive business expansion across Melbourne and surrounding regions. The role focuses on building regional presence, engaging with travel agencies, generating recent business, and providing product support and training. This is a field-intensive position that requires regular in-person visits to travel agents across the metro area.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow the B2B travel market through targeted acquisition and relationship-building.
- Drive product branding and positioning across the region.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and affiliations.
- Provide training, onboarding, and ongoing support to existing B2B clients.
- Manage travel agency relations, follow up on quotes, and convert inquiries.
- Maintain and expand a network of travel agents to generate continuous business.
- Work closely with internal operations teams for pre‑sales coordination.
- Stay updated on regional travel trends, destinations, and outbound markets.
Must‑Have Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Travel Industry.
- Business Development and Account Management experience.
- Proven experience working with B2B travel agencies.
- Strong understanding of local travel trade and outbound destinations.
- Excellent communication skills in English and local languages (as applicable).
- Proficiency with MS Office, email, and online tools.
- Valid Australian Driving License (Mandatory).
- Must NOT be from companies such as OYO, Airbnb, Cruise operators, etc.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
- Background in airlines or large travel agencies.
- IATA Certification.
- Existing network of local travel agents, hotels, and travel partners.

AUD 36,000 – 60,000 Per Annum (All‑Inclusive; No bonuses/insurance)

80% Field Travel (Meet 5+ Agents Daily)
