The Role and Hospital
As an Emergency Medicine Consultant, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive clinical service to patients of WA Country Health Service- Goldfields Region. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality emergency services at the Kalgoorlie Health Campus, promoting patient safety and quality within the emergency department.
You will provide leadership, management, training, supervision, and education to Senior Medical Practitioners, Interns, Resident Medical Officers, and Registrars in collaboration with the Director of Medical Services.

The Kalgoorlie Health Campus is a modern, 106-bed general inpatient facility serving over 50,000 residents of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and outlying towns, rural, and remote communities in the Goldfields region.
This state-of-the-art hospital offers first-class facilities and provides specialist anaesthetic services to the Goldfields Region, ensuring a comprehensive range of high-quality work is delivered to residents, visitors, and regional areas.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should be registered as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and hold a Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent qualification as an overseas-trained specialist.
