Offer description

Our team at Nicola Place, Albury is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities. We provide high-quality support services that enable individuals with complex needs to live independently and achieve their goals.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to our clients. Your duties will be varied and may include providing personal care, assisting with medication, shopping, or cooking. You will work closely with our clients to identify their strengths and preferences and develop tailored support plans that meet their unique needs.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for working with people with disabilities. You will also need to hold a valid NDIS check, CPR, and First Aid Certificate, as well as be fully COVID vaccinated. Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential, as we offer training and upskilling opportunities within our organisation.

We value diversity and welcome applications from women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and people of culturally diverse backgrounds.
