Ironbuilt Infrastructure is a growing civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure projects across NSW, including sewer pump stations, sewer rising mains, water infrastructure and major civil works .
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our team working on projects across the Illawarra and South Coast .
About the Role
You will play a key role in our civil construction crew operating excavators for trenching and underground infrastructure installation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating excavators for trenching and civil infrastructure works
* Working safely around existing underground utilities and services
* Supporting the installation of sewer, stormwater and water pipelines
* Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas
* Working closely with pipelayers, supervisors and site crews
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience as an Excavator Operator on civil construction projects
* Experience with trenching and working around underground services
* Strong attention to detail and safe operating practices
* Relevant machine tickets / VOC
* Driver’s licence
* Ability to work effectively within a civil construction team
