You will drive informed commercial decisions and seek opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
This key role will enable change and growth, setting the College up for continuous improvement and furthering their impressive success.Reporting directly to the Executive Principal, and working closely with the broader College Executive Leadership Team, the Director of Business will lead four direct reports in providing strategic oversight and management across key domains including Business and Finance, Facilities, Assets & Resources, Workplace Health and Safety, Risk, Governance and Compliance.
The role also acts as Company Secretary to the College Board.
Key areas of responsibility include:Leading the finance function, including budgeting & reportingStrategic & operational managementProperty & asset management, including capital works & contract managementAbout you CPA or CA accreditation (post-graduate qualifications highly regarded)Extensive business leadership experience, ideally in independent education or similar environmentStrong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and WHSUnderstanding of Commonwealth and State education funding modelsFamiliarity with Synergetic (preferred)Leadership style & values fit Proven ability to lead and develop teamsCommitted to collaboration, strategic thinking, and servant leadershipDemonstrated alignment with Christian values and the College's missionMake a real impact on the lives of students in a truly transformative Christian learning community, working across their three beautiful campuses, and with an outstanding executive team who consistently demonstrate the College values of love, Faith, Integrity, Humility, Grace, Excellence and Perseverance.How to apply Flinders Christian Community College has partnered exclusively with Lawson Delaney to appoint their next Director of Business.
