Activity for two days: Feb 9 & Feb 10
Scope of Work
Site Support – Rack and Stack of New Server Hardware at Gladstone location
Planned Activities
* Feb 9 – Assessment (~2 hours): The engineer will visit the site to assess the scope of work and confirm requirements.
* Feb 10 – Implementation (~5–6 hours): The engineer will perform the following tasks:
* Rack the server
* Connect the server to the network switch
* Power on the server
* Configure the iDRAC and share the login credentials
* Ensure the server team can successfully access the server
Required Equipment / Qualifications
* Engineer must carry a laptop with hotspot connectivity
* Video call capability should be available
* No PPE is required
* The dispatch engineer must complete the site induction using the iPad available at reception
Additional Information
A site representative will assist the dispatch engineer with lifting the server into the rack. Photos and documentation related to the server have been attached for reference.
Coordination
Please share the technician details before the activity. The Migration team wants to discuss before proceeding with the upgrade.
