We provide the best possible conditions for students to be able to cater to their unique academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.About The RoleThe Head of Department (Curriculum) position will look after a cluster of schools which include; but are not limited to:Feluga State SchoolEl Arish State SchoolLower Tully State SchoolMurray River Upper State SchoolCardwell State SchoolThe Successful Candidate WillWork with other HOD-Cs in the bigger cluster school.Be expected to travel to 5 SL1/SL2 schools in the Ulysses Cluster.Be involved in a HOD-C Pilot Program with a network of HOD-C's across Queensland.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development, implementation and evaluation of a cohesive, high-impact curriculum across Prep to Year12 within the Ulysses Cluster, ensuring alignment with the Australian Curriculum and local contextBuild capacity in teachers and leaders through collaborative planning, classroom observation, data analysis, and targeted professional learning.Must-have Skills & ExperienceProven leadership in curriculum design, implementation and review.Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and data-driven instructional improvement.Excellent coaching, mentoring, communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.Interested?
