Job Title: Maintenance Strategist
The Maintenance Strategist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective upkeep and maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities. This involves planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to prevent downtime, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with Maintenance and Production Supervisors as well as Metallurgy representatives to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress.
* Develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules, taking into account equipment usage, production demands, and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular audits to assess the work environment, identify potential hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
* Utilize MS Project Professional to plan, coordinate, and track maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in maintenance planning, coordination, and execution.
* Strong understanding of PLS safety and environmental policies, including incident reporting and hazard mitigation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Project Professional and other relevant software tools.
* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations.
