Job Title: EL2 Director, Claims Administration and Income Support
The Claims Administration and Income Support team plays a vital role in the delivery of high-quality claims management services. This team is responsible for the financial and administrative aspects of claim income support.
This includes all aspects of claim income support such as assessment, assurance, payment, and recoveries. The team also manages claim registration, claim information capture, and claim invoice processing.
As part of the Claims Operations group, the team operates the Claims Contact Centre, receiving, triaging, and handling incoming business-related telephone calls.
The Director of Claims Administration and Income Support leads and develops a multi-disciplinary service delivery team within Claims Operations. This team is responsible for the financial calculations and administrative transactional activities relating to claims management.
The Director ensures the timely and effective delivery of these critical activities, driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing them into business operations.
This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering high-performing claims management services.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, compensation, business, or management.
Additionally, they must be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance and undergo an Australian Criminal History Check.
